Below are the current projects that are in need of much support. Let
us help and work together to have these projects completed so that our
school will continue to be more effective and competitive in providing
quality education to the youth of Anda and beyond.
Speech Lab - The Lab is
a requirement in order for our school to continue offering the two new
college degrees: Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and Bachelor
of Science in Education (BSED). The lab will have 10-15 seats to be used
by students. This project needs about P250,000.00 (pesos) to be completed.
While the project has been started, it still needs a lot of financial
support.
Scholarship Fund - Both
the high school and college departments continue to need financial support
for scholarships. The following are the breakdowns of Tuition Fees a student
needs for a school year (or per semester for a college student).
Elementary Pupils................................................ P

First year to Third year student............................. P 4,000.00
(approx US$ 93 per year)
Four year student................................................. P 5,000.00
(approx US$116 per year)

5,000.00 (approx US$116 per semester)
Staff/Faculty Development
- For Asbury to be more competitive and to be able to provide the highest
quality of education to her students, her teachers have to be continuously
trained in different fields and specialties also. This is also a requirement
by the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) for the school to meet and
be able to offer more college degrees. Most of our teachers have Master's
units already but they are required to finish a Master's Degree in Education.
Unfortunately, due to lack of financial resources it is very difficult
if not impossible for a lot of them to pursue such degree. A teacher needs
about P 5,000.00 (approx US$116) per semester to enroll in a Master's
degree program. Please support our teachers also.
Library Fund - Asbury has
now three Libraries: Pre-Elementary Library, High School Library and the
College Library. All libraries continue to need new books, magazines,
journals, and even chairs and tables. Please consider supporting these
libraries also.
Computers/Information Technology
- The school continues to need new computers both for student use and
faculty/office use. Anyone can donate a used but still in good condition
computer, or better yet, a new one or in financial way!
Building and Classroom Improvements
- As the pictures posted on the website show, several buildings and classrooms
are in dire need of improvements and renovations. New chairs and tables
for classroomes are also needed for students to use.
Other on-going needs that need financial support are Athletics
Program/Scholarship, and
Student Services (Dental and Medical Clinic).
Looking at these lists of projects and needs makes one to feel overwhelmed!
Yet these projects and needs are sure signs that Asbury is going and moving
forward, and that she is not left behind but is actively responding to
the demands of the present epoch of human history.
Again, our appeal to all is to continue supporting our dear Alma Mater
by graciously and generously supporting one or two or any of these projects.
